10 Games in 10 Hours
Game developer Mark Cooke set himself a challenge to make 10 games in 10 hours. He actually completed the challenge in 9 hours and 27 minutes (Say what!). Mark presented the results at the 62nd Pecha Kucha Night in Tokyo which included iPhone, Flash and Unity games. The list of games with their platform and genre as posted on his blog are:
- “Can You Say Pecha Kucha?” – iPhone – Rhythm game
- “Shinjuku Shame” – Web (Unity) – Homeless staring FPS
- “Game Developer Life” – Web (Flash) – Game industry wage slave simulation
- “Scream Test” – iPhone – Screaming competition
- “Voice Invaders” – iPhone – Voice controlled vertical shooter
- “Surfing on Sine Waves” – Web (Flash) – Procedurally generated surfing game
- “Architris” – Web (Unity) – Blueprint Tetris
- “Para Para Punch” – iPhone – Hooligan punching game
- “Blind Masseuse” – Mac – Sound based massaging simulation
- “Basket Bomb” – Web (Unity) – Basketball terrorist physics game
